Please read these terms carefully before using Carricome's website, customer portal, or mobile apps.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Carricome website at carricome.com, the customer web portal, and the Carricome mobile applications for iOS and Android (together, the "Services"), operated by Carricome Logistics ("Carricome", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account, submitting a pre-alert, tracking a shipment, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Our Services

Carricome provides freight-forwarding and logistics coordination services, including package intake (pre-alerts), warehouse handling, Air and Sea transit, status tracking, invoicing, and delivery or pickup facilitation.

We act as a logistics coordinator and forwarder. Carricome is not the retailer of goods you purchase from third-party sellers. Title to goods remains with you or the seller unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Service availability, transit times, rates, and warehouse addresses may change. Current rates and operational details are shown in the portal, on the public Rates page where published, and in system settings visible to authenticated users.

3. Accounts and Registration

You must provide accurate, complete registration information and keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for safeguarding your login credentials.

We may require identity verification before activating certain features. We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

Staff and administrative users access a separate workspace governed by additional internal policies. Customer accounts must not be used to access administrative tools.

4. Pre-Alerts and Shipments

When you submit a pre-alert or shipment through the portal or mobile app, you agree that:

  • Information you provide (description, value, weight, dimensions, and contents) is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  • You have the legal right to ship the goods and that they comply with applicable import, export, and customs laws.
  • You will use the correct warehouse address and transit method (Air or Sea) for your shipment.
  • Carricome may inspect, weigh, reclassify, or refuse packages that are misdeclared, prohibited, or unsafe.

5. Fees, Invoices, and Payment

Shipping, handling, storage, duties, taxes, and other charges are calculated according to published or quoted rates and reflected on your invoices in the portal. You agree to pay all amounts due by the stated due date.

Unpaid balances may result in holds on release of packages, suspension of services, or collection action as permitted by law. Currency is displayed according to system settings (base currency) unless otherwise stated on an invoice.

Invoice PDFs are available for download from the customer dashboard. Payment methods and instructions are provided on each invoice or through support.

6. Prohibited Items and Conduct

You may not use the Services to ship illegal, hazardous, or prohibited items, or to misdeclare package contents or value. You may not abuse public tracking, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with platform operation.

We may report suspected illegal activity to authorities and cooperate with law enforcement.

  • Illegal goods, controlled substances, weapons, hazardous materials without proper authorization, or items prohibited by carrier or customs regulations.
  • Counterfeit, stolen, or infringing goods.
  • Conduct that harasses staff, abuses public tracking tools, or disrupts the Services.

7. Tracking and Notifications

Tracking information is provided for convenience and may be updated as packages move through our network. Timestamps and status labels reflect operational milestones and are not a guarantee of delivery on a specific date.

Push notifications, email, and in-app alerts depend on device settings and network availability. Carricome is not liable for delays in notification delivery.

8. Mobile Applications

Use of the Carricome mobile apps is also subject to the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play terms. You are responsible for data charges from your mobile provider.

We may release updates that are required for security or compatibility. Some features may differ between web and mobile; core account, shipment, and billing functions are intended to be available on both.

9. Intellectual Property

The Services, including logos, design, software, and content created by Carricome, are owned by Carricome or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Services for personal logistics purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, or resell access to the Services without our written permission.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Transit times are estimates. Carricome is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, acts of government, or events outside our reasonable control.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Carricome and its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Services is limited to the fees you paid to Carricome for the specific shipment giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the event, or as otherwise required by mandatory applicable law.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Carricome from claims, damages, fines, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Services, inaccurate declarations, prohibited contents, or violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Suspension and Termination

You may close your account through profile settings or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, pose a security risk, or as required by law.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will remain in effect.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date indicates the current version. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. Material changes may be communicated through the Services or by email.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Carricome primarily operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
