Carricome Logistics ("Carricome", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Carricome website at carricome.com, the customer web portal, and the Carricome mobile applications for iOS and Android (together, the "Services").

  • Account and identity information — name, email address, phone number, password (stored in hashed form via our authentication provider), profile photo, government ID or verification documents when required for account approval, and account number assigned by Carricome.
  • Shipping and logistics information — warehouse addresses, delivery addresses, authorized pickup persons, package descriptions, tracking numbers, transit type (Air or Sea), weights, dimensions, declared values, customs-related details you provide, and shipment status history.
  • Billing and payment information — invoice records, payment status, amounts due, and transaction references. Payment card details are processed by our payment partners; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Communications — messages you send through our support hub, contact forms, email, phone, or WhatsApp, and notifications we send to you (including push notifications on mobile).
  • Technical and usage data — device type, operating system, app version, browser type, IP address, log files, cookies, and how you navigate the website or app (pages viewed, features used, and approximate location derived from IP).
  • Public tracking lookups — when you search a tracking number without signing in, we log the query for security, abuse prevention, and service improvement.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide freight-forwarding, package intake, tracking, billing, and customer support services.
  • Create and manage your account, verify your identity when required, and enforce account security.
  • Process pre-alerts, update shipment status, generate invoices and delivery receipts, and facilitate pickup or delivery.
  • Send service-related notifications (email, in-app, SMS where enabled, and push notifications on mobile).
  • Respond to inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and improve the quality of our Services.
  • Comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the rights, safety, and property of Carricome, our users, and third parties.
  • Analyze aggregated or de-identified usage trends to improve our platform and mobile experience.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers — authentication (Supabase), hosting, analytics, payment processors, email and notification delivery, and IT support vendors that process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
  • Logistics partners — carriers, warehouses, customs brokers, and local delivery agents as needed to move and deliver your packages.
  • Legal and safety — regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when required by law, court order, or to prevent fraud, abuse, or harm.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to continued protection of your information.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, meet legal and tax requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Shipment and invoice records may be kept for a longer period where required for logistics, accounting, or regulatory compliance.

You may request account deletion through your profile settings in the portal or by contacting us. Some information may be retained in backup systems or where deletion is not permitted by law.

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, and receive a portable copy of your data. You can update most account details in the portal under Profile & Settings or in the mobile app.
